Honestly a lot of parts of the original I like better, but the coloring (and the little hair tuft) are much better in the new one.

I feel like a brighter, slightly more greenish yellow suits Pikachu better, but those electrical effects are spectacular.

The left (his left) eye seems a bit too small compared to his right, but I like the overall stylization on display.
